HISTORY WITH FLAVOR

Ventolini is a Colombian company with more than six decades of experience in food production. Born as a traditional ice cream shop, it grew through homemade recipes, innovation, and constant transformation to become a multi-category company that integrates ice cream, pastries, ready-to-eat meals, bakery, snacks, and beverages.

We operate in a production plant in Cali, Colombia with more than 16,000 square meters dedicated to food manufacturing. From the Valle del Cauca, we develop products tailored to large retail chains, our own brand, Ventolini, and private-label clients.

As a capital–socialist company, we believe in teamwork and in well-being as the engine of everything we do. We place people at the center: our family, our collaborators, and those who build this project every day.

We operate a facility of over 16.000mts housing state-of-the-art specialized food production technology.

We are located in Cali, capital of the Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

A strategic región due to its industrial, logistics, and supply chain dynamism, with proximity to the Buenaventura port. This facilitates access to international markets and strengthens our distribution and export capacity.

Its scope encompasses the design, development, and structuring of portfolios across multiple categories: pastries, ice cream, beverages, and ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook food solutions. Each initiative is built upon an in-depth analysis of consumer trends, customer needs, and production feasibility, enabling the transformation of concepts into competitive products ready for scaling.

The Innovation and Development team leads the entire process, from formulation and costing to technical validation and industrial standardization. This comprehensive approach ensures efficiency, control, and consistency in every development, facilitating its adaptation to different brands, markets, and distribution channels. For contract manufacturing clients, this translates into customized solutions, optimized timelines, and strategic support throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Quality Control DeparTment

Quality control at Ventolini is not just a support area—it is a strategic axis across the entire organization. It ensures food safety from raw materials to the final product delivered to the consumer.

The department manages risks through continuous monitoring, improvement programs, laboratory analysis, audits, and compliance with national and international regulations, including HACCP. Through technical audits and operational controls, the team identifies opportunities for improvement, minimizing risks and ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Microbiological Laboratory

SCIENCE SUPPORTING FOOD SAFETY

The microbiology laboratory plays a strategic role within the organization, serving as a key tool for ensuring the safety, control, and reliability of the products manufactured in our production plants.

This laboratory receives and analyzes samples from each batch of ice cream, beverages, prepared foods, and pastry products developed at the plant. Through these analyses, strains, bacteria, and the behavior of microorganisms are monitored, enabling continuous process evaluation and evidence-based decision-making.

Having an in-house microbiology laboratory represents a significant added value for Ventolini’s customers. This capability allows for timely monitoring of producto safety, reduced response times, strengthened traceability, and ensures that every product development meets the quality and safety standards required by regulations and the market.

The laboratory’s work is closely coordinated with the Quality Control, Production, and Innovation and Development departments, supporting both continuous manufacturing and the validation of new products. This integration ensures that every formulation and every process has microbiological controls that minimize risks and strengthen confidence in the final product.

For contract manufacturing clients and partner brands, Ventolini’s microbiology laboratory represents an additional guarantee of food safety. It is a technical support that underpins the development of their products.

Design Area
